Facility will self-spray for flies <br /> in the morning as needed to control fly population <br /> • Facility has 5 houses. Remodeling of house I and 2 has been completed <br /> • Houses 1,2 and 5 utilize a belt system to collect manure. The manure is cleaned twice a <br /> week in house I and 2 and every other day in house#5. <br /> • Houses 3 and 4 are machine cleaned daily. <br /> • Facility checks for mortality daily. Mortality is incinerated in an incinerator onsite 2-3x a <br /> week. <br /> • Manure is taken by True Organics during the warm season and Bruce Mellor during the cold <br /> season. Haulers deliver dry material to be mixed with manure prior to picking up the manure. <br /> Manure is hauled away at least once a week. <br /> • No odors were present outside of the houses during this inspection. <br /> • Rain and wind present during this inspection. <br /> • No flies or fly breeding was observed. <br /> • An updated manure management plan and map was submitted during this inspection. <br /> • Well head was observed to be in good condition. <br />
