Facility no longer spreads manure on the neighboring property. Manure management plan needs to be updated to reflect this change.Revise and re-submit manure management plan. 2. This area was experiencing rainfall during this inspection. The manure in the dry bed area was not covered. Manure must either be covered or be placed in a sheltered area to protect it from the rain. If manure is not covered or sheltered in a manner which protects it from rain by the next inspection,this may result in a violation and further enforcement action. Notes: • Facility has approximately 75k birds onsite. • Facility uses Ecolab for vector control. Bait stations were observed in and around all of the houses. • Facility has 5 houses. House I is currently under reconstruction. • House#2 and#5 utilize a belt system to collect manure. The manure is cleaned every third day in house#2 and every other day in house#5. • Houses#3 and#4 are cleaned daily. • Facility checks for mortality daily. Mortality is incinerated in an incinerator onsite 3x a week. • Manure is taken by True Organics. True Organics delivers sawdust which is mixed with the manure before being removed. • No odors were present outside of the houses during this inspection. • Rain and wind present during this inspection. • No flies or fly breeding was observed.
