The consensus of the landowners in the area is that they <br />are not in opposition to this application providing they can have <br />the same requirements (cul-de-sacs, natural drainage and individual <br />wells) . There are four property owners that would request the same <br />consideration. <br />John Silveiria, past resident of the area, said the properties <br />within the triangle should be developed as it is not suitable for <br />farming. <br />OPPONENTS: None <br />REBUTTAL: Ms. Ohlendorf said she would be willing to wait for a <br />year to see if there is a master plan for the area, but requested <br />that the indicate it would,approve her present proposal if the <br />master plan was not workable. <br />Chief Deputy County Counsel Mike McGrew said the commission could <br />not make a commitment for future approval of Ms. Ohlendorf's plan. <br />There was a discussion on the possibility of Ms. Ohlendorf <br />withdrawing this application, and she said she did not wish to do <br />SO. <br />PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED <br />Comm. Jungeblut said he agreed with the staff report. There is a <br />need for circulation and cul-de-sacs would not be adequate. <br />Comm. Gillispie said that he objected to the development of 8 or 9 <br />cul-de-sacs for those parcels; also, a public water system is <br />needed. He said he concurred with the staff report. <br />Comm. Morri said he could not make the findings necessary for <br />approval. <br />MOTION: Moved, seconded (Gillispie-Jungeblut) and carried by a <br />vote of 6-0 to deny Minor Subdivision No. MS -92-175 due to the <br />inability to make Finding Nos. 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8. <br />VOTE <br />Ayes: Morri, Gillispie, Bozzano, Jungeblut, Rojas, Carter <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Holly <br />------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />OTHER BUSINESS: <br />• George Alves spoke about the possible development of his <br />property and road improvement requirements. <br />• Report from Environmental Health Division regarding the Myet <br />PC MINUTES -8- JAN 7, 1993 <br />I <br />
