In regard to the adult fly <br />population, we are monitoring the fly activity and spray insecticide <br />around the ooulrry mouses and manure drying area to control fly <br />activity. <br />We have removed stockpile manure from drying area as your request (1). <br />we have used knock gown soray ( Ravoo E.C. & Dimethonate 267 ) to <br />control adult fly Population on premises as your request (2). <br />We have emPlemented a manure management plan as outlined in the rules <br />and regulations authorized under SJCOC Section 5-2400. The plan is <br />as follows: <br />The manure will be removed from the poultry houses daily. The manure <br />will ne spread in a thin layer in a drying area approximately 300 yards <br />from the poultry houses. The manure will be rototilled as needed to <br />increase exposed surface area and sneed the dryiing process. -The drying <br />manure will be monitored for adult fly and larvae activity. If the area <br />indicates an increasing population, it will be sprayed with insecticide <br />until activity is in control.
