Hazelton Ave. Stockton, Ca. 95201 Re: Vecmor Control Inspectzon-Yong Poultry Farm Dear Sirs: I Would 1ixe to address the issues mentioned in the vector control znspecrinn form dated Seotember 15, 1992. In regard to the adult fly population, we are monitoring the fly activity and spray insecticide around the ooulrry mouses and manure drying area to control fly activity. We have removed stockpile manure from drying area as your request (1). we have used knock gown soray ( Ravoo E.C. & Dimethonate 267 ) to control adult fly Population on premises as your request (2). We have emPlemented a manure management plan as outlined in the rules and regulations authorized under SJCOC Section 5-2400. The plan is as follows: The manure will be removed from the poultry houses daily. The manure will ne spread in a thin layer in a drying area approximately 300 yards from the poultry houses. The manure will be rototilled as needed to increase exposed surface area and sneed the dryiing process. -The drying manure will be monitored for adult fly and larvae activity. If the area indicates an increasing population, it will be sprayed with insecticide until activity is in control. The dry manure will be removed for agricultural use as fertilizer. We are currently looking for a outlet to remove the manure every seven (7) days regulary. Thank you for your patient and your assistance. Sincerely.
