At the time of this inspection there were approximately 310,000 birds onsite. <br /> 2.) Mortality is placed in containers located outside of the houses. Mortality is incinerated daily in <br /> the 2 burner incinerator located on the south side of the property. <br /> 3.) Facility has one lagoon on the south side containing process water generated from washing eggs. <br /> Facility plans to reduce the size of the lagoon. <br /> 4.) Facility is no longer using Eco-Lab for vector control. Facility self manages all vector control <br /> onsite. <br /> 5.) Bait stations were observed placed along the outside of the bird houses. <br /> 6.) Fly concentration inside of the houses was low. Fly concentration outside of the houses was <br /> moderate. Facility is using fly jars to control fly population outdoors. <br /> 7.) Manure is placed to dry on the southeast side of the facility <br /> 8.) Facility has birds housed in 7 organic houses and 3 high houses(1 pit house). <br /> 9.) Organic houses utilize manure belt system <br /> 10.) Organic houses are cleaned 3x a week <br /> 11.) Pit house is cleaned every other day. <br />
