MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -4- <br /> CITY OF TRACY <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Frequency <br /> General Minerals mg/l Yearly at same time <br /> as effluent samples <br /> Specific Conductivity @ 25°C µmhos/cm Yearly at same time <br /> as effluent samples <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Yearly at same time <br /> as effluent samples <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> A groundwater monitoring system shall be established for monitoring groundwater beneath the <br /> industrial holding ponds. Grab samples shall be collected from each well, analyzed and results <br /> submitted to the Board for the following constituents: <br /> Constituents Units Frequency of Analyses <br /> Groundwater Elevation Ft, MSL Quarterly <br /> pH pH Units Quarterly <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/1 Quarterly <br /> General Minerals l mg/1 Quarterly <br /> Trace Metals2 mg/l Annually <br /> i General Minerals shall include all major cations and anions and include a verification that the analysis is <br /> complete(i.e.,cation/anion balance) <br /> 2 Trace Metals shall include Antimony,Arsenic,Cadmium,Copper,Mercury,Nickel,Lead,Selenium, <br /> Thallium, Zinc <br /> REPORTING <br /> Monitoring results shall be submitted to the Regional Board by the 20th day of the month <br /> following sample collection. Quarterly and annual monitoring results shall be submitted by the <br /> 20th day of the month following each calendar quarter and year, respectively. <br /> In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the <br /> date, the constituents, and the concentrations are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized <br /> in such a manner to illustrate clearly whether the discharge complies with waste discharge <br /> requirements. The highest daily maximum for the month, monthly and weekly averages, and <br /> medians, and removal efficiencies (%) for BOD and Suspended Solids, should be determined and <br /> recorded. <br /> If the Discharger monitors any pollutant at the locations designated herein more frequently than is <br /> required by this Order, the results of such monitoring shall be included in the calculation and <br /> reporting of the values required in the discharge monitoring report form. Such increased frequency <br /> shall be indicated on the discharge monitoring report form. <br /> By 30 January of each year, the Discharger shall submit a written report to the Executive <br /> Officer containing the following: <br />
