SITY OF TRAC9 <br />September 9, 1993 <br />State of California <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />Central Valley Region <br />3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br />Sacramento, Ca. 95827-3098 <br />Attention: Mr. Mike Mossbacher <br />Subject: Fall 1993 Sludge Pre -Application Report <br />ICE <br />3 SEP 20 P : 2 <br />The Waste Discharge Requirements issued to the City of Tracy require that a pre - <br />application report be submitted to your office before any sludge can be land applied each <br />year. The enclosed report contains all information specified in the Waste Discharge <br />Requirements. <br />We are presently doing testing of our sludge to ensure that the EPA 503 regulations are <br />met. I am enclosing a table of metals data that shows that all of the regulated metals <br />tested to date are present in concentrations below the ceiling and alternative limits. <br />Our farmer hopes to apply sludge during the last week of September or first week in <br />October. Therefore, your approval would be appreciated as soon as possible. Please <br />contact me if you have any questions or comments about the planned application. <br />Sincerely, <br />Darrell D.
