This <br /> hearing is to determine that this disposal site can be exempt <br /> from a Solid Waste Fac iIJ.ty permit based can the following <br /> findings. (Title 14, Section 18215, California Code of <br /> Regulation) <br /> i. The exemption is not against the public interest. <br /> 2. The quantity of solid waste is insignificant. <br /> 3. The nature of the solid waste poses no significant <br /> threat to health, safety, or the environment. <br /> An annual application fee of $140.00 must be remitted with each- <br /> completed application for each site. <br /> The time and date of' the required hearing will be mailed. <br /> DISPOSAL SITE PERMITS FOR ANIMAL FEED YARDS <br /> Animal Feed Yards are those facilities which feed three or more <br /> animals, other than hogs, of swill , offal , food processing waste <br /> vegetable and fruit packing waste or garbage not produced on -the <br /> premise or site and which meets the land use requirements. (San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 5-2101 (a) ] <br /> "Animal Feeding Yards" are required , in addition to meeting land <br /> use requirements, to possess a valid "Disposal Area Permit" , <br /> obtainable through the San Joaquin Local Healthy District . (San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 5-21.01 (g ) , 5-26()0'and 5-- <br /> 2608) <br /> Hog Farms are exempt from a "Disposal Area Permit" providing the <br /> feeding operation is conducted entirely pursuant to and in <br /> conformity with a permit issued by the State Department. of <br /> Agriculture. <br /> An annual application fee of $140.00 must be remitted with eacl--, <br /> completed application for each site.
