This hearing is to determine that this disposal site can be exempted from a Solid Waste <br /> Facility Permit based on the following findings,Title 27 Section 21565 California Code of Regulation. <br /> 1. The exemption is not against the public's interest. <br /> 2. The quantity of solid waste is insignificant. <br /> 3. The nature of the solid waste poses no significant threat to health, safety, or the <br /> environment. <br /> An application fee of$435.00 must be remitted with each completed application for each site. An <br /> annual permit fee of$156.00 will be assessed. <br /> Notice of the time and date of the required hearing will be mailed. <br /> DISPOSAL SITE PERMITS FOR ANIMAL FEED YARDS: <br /> Animal Feed Yards are those facilities that feed three (3) or more animals (other than hogs), swill, offal, <br /> food processing waste, vegetable and fruits packing waste or garbage, not produced on the premise or <br /> site, and which meet land use requirements. San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 502101(a) <br /> Animal Feed Yards are required, in addition to meeting land use requirements, to possess a valid <br /> "Disposal Area Permit", obtainable through the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division. San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 5-21-1(g), 5-2600 and 5-2608. <br /> Hog Farms are exempt from a "Disposal Area Permit"providing the feeding operation is conducted <br /> entirely pursuant to and in conformity with a permit issued by the State Department of Agriculture. <br /> An application fee of$156.00 must be remitted with each completed application for each site. No public <br /> hearing is required for this permit unless requested by the applicant to appeal conditions or denial of the <br /> "Disposal Area Permit".
