STANDARD PROVISIONS AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS,JANUARY 2012 -31 - <br /> FOR WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> FOR DISCHARGES REGULATED BY SUBTITLE D AND/OR TITLE 27 <br /> 9. Surface and subsurface drainage from outside of a waste management unit <br /> shall be diverted from the unit [Title 27, § 20365(e)]. <br /> 10.Cover materials shall be graded to divert precipitation from the waste <br /> management unit, to prevent ponding of surface water over wastes, and to resist <br /> erosion as a result of precipitation [Title 27, § 20365(f)]. <br /> 11.Any drainage layer in'the final cover shall be designed and constructed to <br /> intersect with the final drainage system for the waste management unit in a <br /> manner promoting free drainage from all portions of the drainage layer <br /> [Title 27, §20365(f)]. <br />
