4-1 <br /> 4.0 MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br /> 4.1 Facility Maintenance Program <br /> Equipment maintenance is conducted daily. The Compost Facility will be maintained <br /> regularly by trained personnel. Maintenance will include the control and removal of <br /> windblown litter, removal of residue, maintenance of material stockpiles, and general good <br /> housekeeping of the site. Roads will be watered, as necessary, to reduce dust and will be <br /> graded, as needed, to remove any uneven surfaces. Litter and residue will be consolidated <br /> daily and transferred for disposal on a regular basis at the working face of the Forward <br /> Landfill. Equipment will be maintained, as previously described. <br /> The construction, operation, and maintenance of the Compost Facility will be governed by <br /> the conditions of the land Use Permits Nos. UP-00-7 and PA-10000245 issued by San <br /> .Joaquin County (see Appendix A).
