Tank and Secondary Containment Assessment Irerracon
Lustre-Cal Facility Lodi, CA
April 22, 2019 Terracon Project No. NA197014
Hazardous waste liquids are permitted and stored in tanks T8, T9 and T10 as discussed above.
Process waste liquids are pumped directly from a wash basin located inside the facility to
storage tank T8 and T9. Hazardous waste storage tank T10 is not generally used and provides
additional capacity for the system. The volume is monitored and the hazardous waste is
routinely pumped and disposed of by a certified hazardous waste hauler to a proper disposal
facility.
System Tightness Testing:
There was no tightness testing for the tanks themselves, nor the ancillary equipment, because
this is not a closed pressurized system. There were no observations of leakage at any of the
systems components or tanks themselves.
Estimated Remaining Service Life:
The estimated remaining service life for this tank system is approximately 15 years based on
the existing condition of the tanks and piping during our inspection.
Seismic Loading Calculations:
In doing our seismic loading calculations we consider the following variables:
■ Seismic Source and Type
■ Soil Type
■ Specific Gravity of Waste Liquids
■ Tanks Dimensions and Character
Below you will find the Seismic Calculations for the Tanks:
Site Seismic Class and Data
Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable
