This is left over from our Acid- Base reactions and Endothermic and Exothermic reactions . We are <br /> disposing our acid per our manufacturers suggestion . We take the leftover Hydrochloric acid and mix it with <br /> Sodium hydroxide and neutralize it. This reaction makes water and salt which we then pour down the public <br /> utilities drain with over 5 Liters of water per Liter of neutralized substance . <br /> There are two teachers that are on campus that are trained to handle hazardous materials and dispose of acids . <br /> Andrew Ryan and myself (Brian Neugebauer) . I have attached an updated copy of our completion certificates <br /> 1 <br />
