TARGET <br /> (D <br /> #4 Failed to complete training on hazardous waste management and emergency response procedures. <br /> (CCR 66265.16(a-c) <br /> Response: Target's ESIM program has been designed to prevent potentially hazardous chemicals from <br /> being disposed of improperly. ESIM container designations are utilized to provide compatible storage for <br /> chemicals prior to transportation. Target contracts our waste vendor to sort, package, and properly <br /> manifest waste according to DOT classifications prior to shipment. Target has recently implemented <br /> improved scanning technology to prevent sorting ESIM into the improper container. Target is in the <br /> process of reviewing and updating our training content to align with recent regulatory and program <br /> changes.
