INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Earnest P Giannecchini of Ernie's General Store, Advanced <br /> Geo Environmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan for the <br /> property at 4407 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California (the site) The location of the site is <br /> Illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of the site is Illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This work plan is prepared as directed by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) by letter dated 27 March 2001 to investigate an <br /> unauthorized release associated with underground storage tanks (USTs) This work plan is prepared <br /> in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines <br /> for the subsurface investigation of UST sites <br /> The purpose of this site assessment is to delineate the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon-Impacted soil and/or groundwater at the site This work plan provides a description of <br /> the scope of work and procedures to be used to advance soil borings, collect and analyze soil and <br /> groundwater samples and to properly abandon the soil borings <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 4407 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California The site is located in a <br /> topographically flat area at an elevation between 30 and 35 feet above mean sea level in the city of <br /> Stockton, San Joaquin County, California The site is within the southeast quarter of Section 30, <br /> Township 2 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton East Quadrangle, <br /> 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1968, photo revised 1987) <br /> 2 1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The property is currently occupied by a one-story grocery market and gasoline fueling facility Five <br /> fuel dispensers are located south of the market, four fuel dispensers are located east of the market <br /> and two fuel USTs are located southeast of the market Presently the facility operates one split <br /> 15,000-gallon UST containing 10,000 gallons of diesel fuel and 5,000 gallons of premium unleaded <br /> fuel and one 15,000-gallon UST containing regular unleaded fuel <br /> i <br /> Advanced CeoEnvirun mental,Inc <br />
