Florido, Elianna [EHD]
From: Florido, Elianna [EHD]
Sent: Wednesday, August 5, 2020 2:08 PM
To: Blair, Bryan
Subject: RE: Return to Compliance AZ#3779 and #6217
Hi Bryan,
Thank you for submitting the return to compliance information for AutoZone stores 3779 and 6217.
In addition to ensuring the proper waste codes are included on the consolidated waste receipts, please also ensure that
the generator and transporter signatures are also included on the receipts.
The hazardous waste violations for both stores are now closed.
Thank you,
Elianna Florido, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
1868 East Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
P: (209)468-3420 1 F: (209) 468-3433 1 E: eflorido@sogov.org
SAN JOAQUIN
C. -''J f v
From: Blair, Bryan [mailto:bryan.blair@autozone.com]
Sent: Monday,August 3, 2020 11:47 AM
To: Florido, Elianna [EHD] <eflorido@sjgov.org>
Subject: Return to Compliance AZ#3779 and #6217
CAUTION:This email is originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
Inspector Florido,
Per my conversation with Bill Ross, the Environmental Compliance Manager with Safety-
Kleen, he has stated that he spoke with you regarding the problem with their handhelds
and the reasons why the Waste Code did not print. According to Mr. Ross, the new
handheld IOS failed to recognize the code. I have attached the Return to compliance
sheets that detail what the problem was and that they have/will fix the problem and will
also agree to monitor the printing of future receipts to ensure they contain the proper
waste code. With these attached return to compliance certifications, please let me know
if this will close the violations for both stores.
Regards!
