All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Gate lacks"KEEP GATE CLOSED"sign. Provide immediately.This is a repeat violation. <br /> Main sign lacks site name and address and phone number of nearest hospital. Provide at all times. This is a repeat <br /> violation. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Life rings rope is falling apart. It shall be replaced immediately. <br /> Hook is not bolted to pole. Bolt, immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible,and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Free chlorine level is too high at 23.4 ppm. Pool is currently closed by management due to COVID-19 <br /> and will not reopen until next year. If it reopens this year, a re-inspection is required before it reopens. Free chlorine level <br /> shall be 2.0-10.0 ppm <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.
