821 S. Wilson Way, Stockton
Page 2
Once a remedial alternative for the soil has been approved by EHD and
remediation has begun, a work plan for installation of additional wells in the
former UST area should be submitted. In addition, a monitoring well should be
installed south of MW3 to investigate the extent of the groundwater
contamination found in the samples from MW3. If groundwater remedial
alternatives are to be proposed and pilot tests conducted, installation of remedial
testing wells should be proposed for installation.
In a letter dated February 1, 2006, EHD directed that quarterly ground water
monitoring was to continue. Quarterly sampling and reporting did not occur
during 2006. A quarterly report for sampling that occurred on March 30, 2007
was submitted to EHD on May 11, 2007. A quarterly report for any sampling that
occurred during the second quarter of 2007 has not been submitted to EHD.
If the above compliance date is not met or quarterly sampling and reporting is not
completed and submitted to GeoTracker, the State Water Resources Control
Board internet database, this site may be referred to the Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board for enforcement action.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
`fYlan.e.c
Margaret
UULagorio, REHS
Program Coordinator Unit IV
cc: San Joaquin County ADA — David Irey
AGE — Chris Miller
CVRWQCB - Jim Barton
