Transcription of Mr. Oakden's letter dated Ma-* 14, 2000 <br /> May 14, 2000 <br /> Code Site 2241 <br /> To: Margaret Lagorio <br /> PHS/EHD <br /> Enclosed is a check for$89.00 as required by your 5-5-00 letter(certified). <br /> Apparently you are not aware I have been incapacitated since 1-1997 with serious health <br /> problems—cardiac vascular disease requiring surgery(angioplasty) complete deterioration <br /> hearing diabetes disease and mental defects rendering me to be real unable to <br /> handle even simple business matters. Am on a very tight fixed interest which has not kept up <br /> with inflation—I shall have to inform my doctor that I cannot buy his latest prescription due to <br /> your$89.00 you recommended. Unable to use telephone—Also took me over 2 %z hours to write <br /> this—unable to stand, sit or walk due osteoporosis hunch-back and pain—cannot hold head up. <br /> I have no record available as to who was the name of the man was I bought 821 S. Wilson Way <br /> from. But believe both have been dead for years. Their originally in the <br /> 1914-1925 was originally built by Caterpillar Tractor Co. City or Co.
