Soil-Vapor and Groundwater Remediation Report - Fourth Quarter 2012 <br /> TOP FILLING STATION <br /> 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this soil-vapor and groundwater <br /> remediation report for 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California (the site). The report <br /> documents the fourth quarter 2012 progress and effectiveness of an interim soil-vapor <br /> extraction (SVE) and groundwater extraction and treatment(GWET)remediation.The site <br /> setting is illustrated on Figure 1. Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted <br /> on Figure 2. <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB)- Central Valley Region for investigation <br /> of underground storage tank(UST)sites. SVE and GWET monitoring data acquired to date <br /> is included in the tables of this report. <br /> The following is a brief summary of SVE and GWET remediation activities performed at <br /> the site during the fourth quarter 2012: <br /> • Between 19 September and 18 December 2012 - Continued interim GWET <br /> remediation operations utilizing groundwater extraction wells EW-1,VW-1 C,VW-2A <br /> and VW-3A. During this fourth quarter period, GWET interim remediation resulted <br /> in the extraction, treatment and discharge of 162,580 gallons of groundwater into <br /> the City of Stockton sanitary sewer system. Based on the amount of treated <br /> groundwater, an estimated 32 pounds of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons was <br /> removed from the influent water stream. <br /> • 22 October, 26 November and 18 December 2012 - Monitoring events performed <br /> on GWET remediation system. <br /> • Between 13 September and 18 December 2012 - SVE interim remediation <br /> operations were conducted at the site utilizing soil-vapor extraction well VW-4. <br /> During this period, SVE interim remediation resulted in the removal of approximately <br /> 249 pounds of total petroleum hydrocarbons from the subsurface. <br /> • 08 October, 09 November and 18 December 2012 - Monthly monitoring event <br /> performed on the SVE remediation system. <br /> 2.0. INTERIM SOIL-VAPOR EXTRACTION REMEDIATION <br /> Between 13 September and 18 December 2012 (4" Quarter), an SVE remediation system <br /> was continuously operated at the site, utilizing a regenerative vacuum blower-carbon <br /> canister SVE system to apply an induced vacuum to well VW-4.
