GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
Ground water monitoring and sampling activities for each newly installed multi-levelground water
' monitoring well will be conducted on a quarterly basis until PHS-EHD notification or approval to
do otherwise. Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to ground water
measurements and collection of ground water samples. Ground water sample collection procedures
' are described in Section 4.5.
Ground water samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for the following constituents:
• TPH-g by EPA Methods 5030/8015M;
' • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method 8020;
• Methanol, ethanol, EDB, 1,2-DCA,TBA,DIPE,ETBE, TAME,and confirmation of MTBE
by EPA Method 8260 Modified;
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses,testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
' control (QA/QC)reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report
with the findings and recommendations.
3.5. REPORT PREPARATION
Following installation of multi-level wells, a report will be prepared presenting the findings. The
report will include a description of work performed and the results of the soil/groundwater sampling
and analysis. Conclusions and recommendations will also be included in the reports, if applicable.
The report will be in a format acceptable to PHS-EHD and RWQCB guidelines, and will be
reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
4.0.
