Work Plan Addendum June 1998 t c,Ec i i 1998 <br /> TOP FILLING STATION <br /> 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> PERMIT / SERVICES <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr. Ed Endich,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has <br /> prepared this Work Plan Addendum for the advancement of four soil borings utilizing cone <br /> penetrometer testing (CPT) technology at 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California. The <br /> objective of this investigation is to assess the vertical impact of petroleum hydrocarbons and to <br /> characterize lithologic conditions beneath the site. The scope of work for this investigation includes <br /> the advancement of four soil borings in two areas at the site. The location of the site is illustrated in <br /> Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This Work Plan Addendum is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> sites. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1. SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at 101 South Wilson Way,on the southwest comer of the intersection of Wilson <br /> Way and Market Street. The site is located in an area of low topographic relief at an elevation <br /> between 10 and 15 feet above mean sea level in the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br /> California. The site is within the northwest quarter of Section 32, Township 1 North, Range 6 East, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7.5-Minute USGS Topographic <br /> Series, 1968,photo revised 1987). <br /> The Top Filling Station operates as a gasoline dispensing station and automobile repair facility. <br /> Currently,two 6,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) are being utilized at the site <br /> as part of business operations. A warehouse/auto repair shop and service station attendants building <br /> are located on the site. The surrounding area is utilized for residential and light industrial purposes. <br /> 2.2. PREVIOUS INVESTIGATIONS <br /> The following is a brief summary of previous subsurface investigation at the site: <br /> • In December 1988, two gasoline USTs were removed from the site. Following tank <br /> removals, soil samples were collected beneath each tank invert and beneath the associated <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironnaental,Inc. <br />
