The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for QUAIL LAKES CAR WASH as of October07, 2019. <br /> Open violations from June 04, 2019 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #501 - Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> The 1000 gallon used oil tank and the 300 gallon used antifreeze tank were missing the accumulation start dates on <br /> the hazardous waste label. <br /> All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start date. <br /> Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are marked with the required information. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#502 - Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system assessment requirements. <br /> Facility does not have a tank assessment for the 1000 gallon used oil tank and the 300 gallon used antifreeze tank. <br /> The owner or operator of a hazardous waste tank shall obtain a written assessment reviewed and certified by an <br /> independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California attesting that the system has sufficient <br /> structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring, storing, and treating of hazardous waste, and that the tanks <br /> and containment system are suitably designed. Immediately have an assessment prepared for the 1000 gallon <br /> used oil tank and the 300 gallon used antifreeze tank. Submit a schedule showing when this will be accomplished <br /> to the EHD and submit a hazardous waste tank assessment once this has been completed. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #601 -Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> The 1000 gallon used oil tank and the 300 gallon used antifreeze tank were missing the accumulation start dates on <br /> the hazardous waste label. <br /> Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest or a disposal record showing that the waste had <br /> been generated within 90 days. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
