Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc . _�- <br /> -= �F'D <br /> 22 April 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0131 AIR 2 2002 <br /> Itf1 ` `''7` ':6LT <br /> H <br /> CES <br /> Ms Rebecca Sethff <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Subject: Revisions to Second Quarter 2000 (31 July 2000), Fourth Quarter 2000 <br /> (23 March 2001) and First Quarter 2001 (14 May 2001) Quarterly Reports <br /> TOP FILLING STATION <br /> 101 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Sethff <br /> On behalf of Mr Ed Endxch of Top Filling Station, Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc (AGE) has <br /> ' prepared this letter in response to a San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD) letter dated 17 January 2002, a copy of the SJCEHD letter is in Appendix A The <br /> SJCEHD letter stated that errors were present in Quarterly Reports dated 31 July 2000, 23 March <br /> 2001 and 14 May 2001 and that the errors must be reviewed, corrected and explained As a result, <br /> a meeting was held on 24 January 2002 between AGE and the SJCEHD to discuss the errors found <br /> by the SJCEHD as referenced above The following is a summary of the errors encountered in the <br /> quarterly reports and includes revisions to each report to correct the errors <br /> 1 Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2000, dated 31 July 2000 Screen intervals A and B at <br /> wells VW-2 and VW-3 were incorrectly identified (reversed) by AGE field technicians <br /> during a quarterly ground water monitoring event on 21 June 2000 To correct this error, <br /> AGE contacted Castle Analytical Laboratory(CAL) and McCampbell Analytical Inc (MAI) <br /> and requested revised reports to reflect the correct screen intervals Additionally, AGE has <br /> revised the original monitoring well field logs and chains of custody to reflect the correct <br /> screen intervals, all revisions are initialed by an AGE representative Copies of the revised <br /> 21 June 2000 laboratory reports and revised monitoring well field logs are included for your <br /> records in Appendix B <br /> 2 Quarterly Report-Fourth Quarter 2000, dated 23 March 2001 Screen intervals A and B at <br /> wells VW-2 and VW-3 were incorrectly identified (reversed) by AGE field technicians <br /> during a quarterly ground water monitoring event on 27 October 2000 To correct this error, <br /> AGE contacted MAI and requested revised reports to reflect the correct screen intervals <br /> Additionally, AGE has revised the Table Nos 2 and 3,the original monitoring well field logs <br /> 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215 <br /> Telephone (209) 467-1006 FAX(209) 467-1118 <br />
