The containers <br /> were observed in the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One 55 gallon drum with used paper oil filters observed with no accumulation start date. Operator corrected on site <br /> using previous manifest as guidance. <br /> -One 55 gallon drum with used paper oil filter observed with no hazardous properties. Operator corrected on site, he <br /> wrote in toxic. <br /> The following were observed in the north side of the facility, outdoors adjacent to main shop: <br /> -Three blue 55 gallon drums with waste solids observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br /> -One green 10 gallon drum with waste solids observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> Note: Operator states that the blue and green drums with waste solids have been on site they acquired the property <br /> in March of 2019. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 1/12/2019 . <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
