INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Ed Endich of Top Filling Station, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Work Plan Addendum for Investigation of f <br /> Hydrocarbon Impacted Soil and Ground Water at 101 S Wilson Way in Stockton, California The i <br /> scope of work includes the:installation of two ground water morutonng wells, three cluster soil vapor <br /> extraction wells, performance of a soil vapor extraction pilot test and preparation of a Corrective <br /> Action Plan (CAP) <br /> The additional investigation at the site is performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) guidelines for the investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of <br /> the site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 21 SITE LOCATION <br /> The site is located at 101 S Wilson Way, on the southwest corner of the intersection of Wilson Way <br /> and Market Street, in the city of Stockton, San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1) The site is <br /> further described as being located within the northeast quarter of Section 32, Township 1 North, <br /> Range G East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian The Top Filling Station operates as a gasoline <br /> dispensing station and automobile repair facility located in a topographically flat area of Stockton i <br /> The surrounding area is residential and light industrial <br /> 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> It is our understanding that two underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed from the site in <br /> 1988 So.l samples were collected beneath each UST and beneath the associated piping The samples <br /> were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline(TPH-g) and volatile aromatics <br /> (benzene, toluene, ethyl hen,:ene and xylene BTE&X) TPH-g and BTE&X were detected in the soil <br /> samples collected beneath the USTs at concentrations ranging from 22 parts per million (ppm) to <br /> 2,200 ppm <br />
