All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classed as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free Chlorine level is measured at 0 ppm. Maintain free Chlorine level at 2-10 ppm. Correct immediately. <br />Do no open this pool until a re -inspection. Contact me at (209) 616-3152 to schedule a re -inspection. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: Operation record is not kept to date. The pool operator of every public pool open for use at a public pool <br />site shall test the disinfectant residual and pH of the public pool water a minimum of once per day. Correct immediately. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operatorshall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operatorshall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br />#38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pressure differential between influent and effluent are 16 PSI. Clean/replace the filters within one <br />month. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All fitters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 31238) Pressure gauge <br />located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 31258) Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br />can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
