An inspection was last done on 12/10/2015 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be submitted to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 1/9/2016. This information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. Open minor violations from 12/10/2015 inspection: -Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 years -Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number -Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination equipment -No modified contingency plan This is a Class II violation. 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination equipment. The eyewash located on the east wall of the shop was dirty, had debris in the sink and rusty water came out when it was tested. All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this practice and provide proof to the EHD. This is a repeat violation, Class II. 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste paint was observed next to the spray booth without an accumulation start date on the label. No disposal records were available for review for waste paint. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. This is a repeat violation, Class II.
