The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for R&A MILLER INC as of November 05, 2019. <br /> Open violations from August 27, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Used oil in the 300 gallon used oil tank was last disposed of by a waste hauler on 1/14/19 and the accumulation <br /> start date observed on the hazardous waste label was 5/3/18. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy <br /> of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#608-Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Three 5 gallon plastic buckets were observed containing drained used oil filters without a label or accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used <br /> oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per <br /> year may store the filters up to one year. <br /> Since it cannot be determined how long the filters have been stored on site, immediately recycle these filters under <br /> a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. Containerize, label and mark an accumulation start <br /> date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />
