The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for R&A MILLER INC as of November 05, 2019. Open violations from August 27, 2019 inspection Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. Used oil in the 300 gallon used oil tank was last disposed of by a waste hauler on 1/14/19 and the accumulation start date observed on the hazardous waste label was 5/3/18. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by(date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation#608-Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. Three 5 gallon plastic buckets were observed containing drained used oil filters without a label or accumulation start date. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Since it cannot be determined how long the filters have been stored on site, immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD.
