Farms'<am.farmsC@hotmaiLcom>
Subject: RE: Inspection Reports-PR0525076 and PR0530354
Hi Marnie,
I have reviewed the return to compliance forthe hazardous waste and hazardous materials inspection. Below are some
notes on why most of the violations were not closed.
1. Looking through CERS hazardous material inventory,Sulfur is showing as zero gallons. Change this to pounds
and input the maximum daily amount. This would be the most you would have at one time.
2. The site map should have all symbols or abbreviations identified. For example the FE and SO should have a key
to identify what they are.You can put FE =Fire Extinguisher, on the side. LPG and SO will also need to be
identified.
3. The chemicals on inventory should be identified on the map. For example instead of fertilizer write down what
is on the inventory list.
4. The buildings that have hazardous materials should have the entrance and exit points identified.
5. For the components that are Not Applicable to the facility, write NA in the box.
6. The Emergency Response/Contingency Plan is blank. Resubmit with filled out form. include the Local Unified
Program Agency(UPA) phone number(209)468-3420 and the nearest medical facility name and phone
number. Resubmit through CERS
7. The sign for the used oil filters should read, 'Drained Used Oil Filters," and the accumulation start date
needs to be on there as well. Do not label as hazardous waste.Resubmit a statement or picture of this.
I have closed the used oil tank labeling violation. The attached label meets all the requirements and contains all required
information.
There is no need to submit pictures through CERS.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
FR EE classes presented by N ES l nc. a re ava i lable to al l Sa n Joaq u i n Cou my Haza mous Waste, U ndergrou nd Storage Ta n k,
and Aboveground Petroleum Storage Facility Business Owners and Operators.
