Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3)Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: Copies of consolidated manifest receipts for hazardous wastes including used oil were not found <br /> on site during the inspection <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all consolidated manifest receipts for the last three years and <br /> maintain them on site. Provide a copy of the consolidated manifest receipts and a corrective action statement to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(dx2)Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Leaking from a diesel filter was observed.The leaking material was being captured by a buried <br /> poly drum.The drum appeared to have been cut and the bottom quarter was being used to capture the leaking <br /> material.Approximately 2 gallons of liquid were observed to be in the poly drum. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire,explosion,or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air,soil,or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION:Immediately fix the leaking diesel filter. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California <br /> Code of Regulations for hazardous waste.
