I have attached photo documentation, scanned documents and the compliance
certification to this email.
Item #605—Our metal Hazardous Waste containers have now been labeled and properly marked. Department heads
have the labeling guide for future use. (see photos attached)
Item #601—The container with the acetone rags has been disposed of at a HW facility and a new HW label with the
accumulation date has been placed on the container. (see attached for documentation on this)
Item#303—Eye Wash solution has been placed in the painter's area and it has always been supplied in the first aid kits
we have throughout the shop. (see attached photo)
Item#301—The oil that was observed on the ground by our shear was determined to be coming from our air system,
not the shear. The area has been cleaned and we have placed a metal container to contain the oil/water mixture that is
present in our air line. When we capture a full can we will dispose of at the HW facility. (see attached photo)
Item#203—Noted that we will no longer transport any leftover paint to our Oakland facility. As stated during your visit
we typically have very little waste paint, but we will dispose of what we do accumulate via a hazardous waste facility
going forward.
Item#113 and #110—I have not been able to locate any records of the disposal of Hazardous Waste going back past
11/22/17, 1 do see manifests from 2006-2004.The person that was overseeing this has moved on. Going forward this
responsibility will be overseen by myself and I will see to it that the Hazmat Manifest book is kept up to date. I have
attached the Hazmat invoices I do have. If needed, I can email updates bi-yearly for you to inspect.
Item#102—We have determined that our spent paint booth filters do classify as hazardous waste. Going forward we
will dispose of at a HW facility. We have just ordered new filters and will be disposing of the old filters within the next 3-
4 weeks. I can email you the manifest for this before updating the book if you wish.
Please note that we are taking advantage of the free classes being offered. Our Human Resources Manager,Assistant
Production Manager and myself will be attending the 11/19/19 Basic Hazmat Management class.
If you need to reach out to me you can via this email or on my cell at 510-533-0815.
Daniel Woodson
Production Manager
Arrow Sign Company
510.533.7693 -Cell 510.772.2440
www.arrowsigncompany.com
CA License 314794-C45 Electrical Signs/C51 Structural Steel/ C61 Specialty-Cranes
Licensed in California, Nevada, Washington, Arizona and Hawaii
1
