Some paint waste is
generated from maintenance activities .
The Site has no hazardous waste satellite accumulation areas . Wastes ( including hazardous and
non - hazardous streams ) are stored in the HHMA CSA located indoors on the southwest side of the
Site building ( Figure 2 ) .
The HHMA CSA is a labeled and designated concrete-floored space approximately 12 feet wide by
20 feet long . It is comprised of 2 rows , each with 4 sections or lanes ( 8 lanes in total ) . The rows are
spaced approximately 4 feet apart for access . Each lane is approximately 3 feet wide by 8 feet long ,
divided by floor markings or temporary chains . Each section stores a particular waste stream , such
as aerosols , flammables , acids , etc . See Appendix B for the HHMA CSA layout and typical wastes
stored in each lane . There are no floor drains located in the area . Wastes are typically stored in 55 -
gallon drums . The total quantity of waste stored in each row/lane varies based on generation rate .
arcadis . com 8
