Lowell (West High School is 1775 W. Lowell). Since the universal
waste is removed from the District Service Center, I do not have any bill of ladings for Kimball High School.
I do not believe the lab packs were hauled off as medical waste. When I spoke with Ken from Ingenium, he said the lab
pack material was combined in one drum (I was looking for individual packs as well but I believe he said it was more cost
effective to combine them). Ken did tell me if you had any questions that I could reach back out to him so just let me
know if I need more clarification.
Sheryl Smith
.Administrative Secretary to the
Associate Superintendent of Business Services
?racy'(lnified SchooCDlstrict
Direct Line:830-32oo, ext noo
From: Gaitan,Jason <jgaitan@sjgov.org>
Sent: Monday,June 24, 2019 11:45 AM
To: Smith, Sheryl <sasmith@tusd.net>
Cc: Flores,Anthony<anthonyflores@tusd.net>; Goodall, Casey<cgoodall@tusd.net>
Subject: RE: Return to Compliance Certification - Kimball High School
..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
[CAUTION] This email is NOT from TUSD.
€ Do not click on links or open attachments unless you trust the sender.
:..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Hi Sheryl,
Looking over the return to compliance, I noticed that the bill of ladings from 2017 to 2019 have the site address of 1975
west Lowell Ave.Tracy, CA 95376. Which is Merill F West High School. I know that you mentioned that the universal
waste was transported to the district service center for proper disposal, what is the address of this site?
Are there any bill of ladings for Kimball High School?
Also, wanted to ask about the medical waste document, were one of the lab packs hauled off as medical waste?
I am trying to account for all 5 20 ounce lab pack containers. I cannot seem to find them, I see a large amount of
hydrochloric acid was hauled off, were the lab packs combined into one container?
Hope to hear from you soon.
JASON GAITAN
EHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E.Hazelton Ave.Stockton,CA 95205
i
