Ensure that chlorine and pH are tested daily and CYA <br /> once per month. Start start testing pH and Chlorine daily and recording results. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pool shell has large chunks missing and one large crack that could be causing leak. Repair the pool <br /> shell so that it is water proof and smooth before the next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br /> and scrubbing.A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 31088) <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards <br /> OBSERVATIONS:THe light has water seeping into it, and the GFI breaker is stuck. Repair these within one month so light <br /> and GFI breaker function properly. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br /> California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4)Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br /> fault circuit interrupter.
