City of Stockton
Page 3
1465 Lincoln
The consultant that bid on the work required for this site and was awarded
the contract to perform the work did not fully understand the work
required. After being made aware of the full scope of work, they indicated
they could not perform the work required for the bid given. The next
lowest bid was provided by Advanced GeoEnvironmental (AGE), who has
stated that their bid is still good. AGE will be submitting a work plan for
further investigation of the 12,000 gallon USTs area and a closure plan for
the 1,000 gallon waste oil UST piping.
800 Main Steet
During activities at this site, which is nol owned by the City of Stockton, a
UST was found beneath the city sidewalk. The site owner and the City of
Stockton both claim the other person/entity is the UST owner and
responsible for removal of the UST. Th s matter is being referred to the
San Joaquin County District Attorney's office for enforcement action.
A meeting with the City of Stockton to discuss the status of their sites at that time
is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 10, 2000, at the offices of PHSIEHD.
If you have any comments or questions conta t Margaret Lagorio at (209) 468-
3449 or the PHSIEHD site manager.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
c: CVRWQCB - Mark List
COS Public Works - John Fukomoto
AGE - Bill Little
ATC - Jeanne Homsey
