<br /> This is a momfily status report for the soil remediation system at the above-referenced site, for the
<br /> month of January 1991.
<br /> A Du Pont Environmental Remediation Services techtuciau visited the site on a weekly basis. Typical
<br /> activities that were performed during the visit included equipment inspection, instrument calibration,
<br /> influent and effluent concentration measurements, and control system adjustments. A hand-held
<br /> organic vapor analyzer (OVA)was used by field technicians to measure hydrocarbon concentrations
<br /> and one tediar air bag sample was collected for laboratory analysis. The system needed to be restarted
<br /> on the January 10 and January 17, 1991 site visits. The system may have shut down due to lack of
<br /> supplemental fuels, it power surge, or improper mixture.
<br /> Based on operating parameters listed on Table A and Table 8,approximately 490 pounds (80 gallons)
<br /> of gasoline have been extracted during this reporting period. The remediation system has been
<br /> operating since August 1989, and since then,approximately 22,200 pounds (3,600 gallons) of gasoline
<br /> have been extracted and properly treated. Attached are two figures which show Gasoline Extracted Per
<br /> Month (Figure 1) and Cumulative Gasoline Extracted (Figure 2).
