All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool deck is sinking beneath the coping in some spots and creating a tripping hazard,the deck must <br /> be flush with the coping. <br /> There is also cement joints missing between some of the coping pieces. Fill these gaps so that no one can be injured. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There are O-rings missing that go under the float valve assembly and under the float, in the assembly. <br /> Check all skimmers for O-rings and replace missing O-rings by the next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The recirculation system was off when I arrived, the pumps should be running while the pool is open and <br /> 2 hours before and after the pool is open. Corrected on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br /> needed to maintain clear pool water.
