Quarterly Monitoring Report <br />' Soil Remediation System <br /> July - September 1993 <br /> Former Econo Gas Station <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms. Thompson <br />' This report presents the status of the soil remediation system located at Conoco Inc 's (Conoco) former <br /> Econo Gas station, 4325 East Washington Street, Stockton, California between July 1, 1993 and <br />' September 30, 1993 Sampling observations and analytical results are reported herein for this quarter <br /> only Sunriver Engineering and Construction assumed responsibility for the monitoring of this site in <br />' June 1993 <br /> A Sunnver technician visited the site on a weekly basis Typical activities that were performed during <br />' a visit included equipment inspection, instrument calibration, influent and effluent soil vent gas <br /> concentration measurements, and control system adjustments A hand-held flame ionization detector <br /> (FID) was used by the technician to measure the vent gas hydrocarbon concentrations Influent soil vent <br />' gas samples were collected in July and September for laboratory analyses In August, we inadvertantly <br /> sampled effluent; results are presented herein A site visit sign-in log was maintained Laboratory <br /> results and chain-of-custody forms are attached in Appendix A <br /> IThe soil remediation system consists of a series of vapor wells, a vacuum blower, and a thermal <br /> incinerator The removal rate of the soil remediation system is approximately 100 standard cubic feet <br /> per minute The operating efficiency (actual operating time versus the total time in the reporting period) <br /> of the system was 96 percent. <br /> C0N0C0\93036\QUAS0A._KEP <br /> 4501-1) O'Hara Avenue, Brentwood, Cafifornia 94513 ■ (510) 516-0162 ■ FAX (510) 516-2649 ■ Contractor's License # 620479 <br />
