SAN <br /> J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUNTY <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> ST&E Roundhouse 1 1282 Shaw Rd, Stockton September 24, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> OBSERVATION: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste diesel was observed in the shop without an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil observed in the shop was missing an accumulation start date <br /> -One white plastic 275 gallon tote of used oil was observed in the shop without an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal rectangular container of used oil filters was observed in the cage outside without an accumulation <br /> start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil filters was observed in the cage outside without an accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> No hazardous waste disposal records were available for review during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store <br /> waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of <br /> the manifest to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste diesel was observed in the shop without the words"Hazardous Waste", <br /> generator name and address, accumulation start date, hazardous properties and physical state on the label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil observed in the shop was missing generator name and address, <br /> accumulation start date and physical state on the label. <br /> -One white plastic 275 gallon tote of used oil was observed in the shop without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One black metal rectangular container of used oil filters was observed in the cage outside without a hazardous <br /> waste label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil filters was observed in the cage outside without a hazardous waste <br /> label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
