RECEIVED <br /> DU PONT ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION SERVICES 0-A1=04EXrALAFirAM <br /> ' 7068 KolI Center Parkway, Suite 401 <br /> Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> (510) 462-7772 <br /> Fax (510) 462-7944 April 24, 1992 <br /> Job No 400511-M <br /> Conoco Inc <br /> 600 North Dairy Ashford ' ; <br /> MO 3018 <br /> Houston, Texas 77079 DEC Z 1 1 ` <br /> ATTENTION Mr Gregory P Fletcher <br /> + Senior Coordinator - Environmental Affairs <br /> SUBJECT Quarterly Monitoring Report <br /> January - March 1992 <br /> Former Econo Gas Station <br /> 4325 East Washington Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Fletcher <br /> This report presents the status of the soil remediation system located at Conoco Inc's (Conoco) <br /> former Econo Gas Station, 4325 East Washington Street, Stockton, California between <br /> January 3, 1992 and April 3, 1992 A Du Pont Environmental Remediation Services (DERS) <br /> technician visited the site on a weekly basis Typical activities that were performed during a visit <br /> included equipment inspection, instrument calibration, influent and effluent soil vent gas <br /> concentration measurements, and control system adjustments A hand-held organic vapor <br /> analyzer (OVA) was used by the technician to measure the vent gas hydrocarbon concentrations <br /> Monthly influent soil vent gas samples were collected for laboratory analyses DERS maintained <br /> a site visit sign-in log The log is available for inspection upon request Laboratory results and <br /> chain-of-custody forms are attached in Appendix A <br /> The soil remediation system consists of a series of vapor wells, a vacuum extraction blower, and a <br /> thermal incinerator The extraction rate of the soil remediation system is approximately 85 standard <br /> cubic feet per minute The operating efficiency (actual operating time versus the total time in the <br /> reporting period) of the system was 78 percent The system was down between February 17 and 21, <br /> February 25 and 28, February 29 and March 4, and March 25 and April 3, 1992 In each case the <br /> system may have shut down due to high winds, or power surges The system was checked and <br /> restarted each time when no mechanical deficiencies were noted <br /> Better Things For Better Living <br /> 400511 S Rev 0 <br />
