All facility communications or alarm <br /> systems,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall <br /> be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this <br /> practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Two black metal 55 gallon drums of used oil were observed without an accumulation start date. This was corrected <br /> on site. One white plastic 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze was observed without an accumulation start date.This <br /> was corrected on site. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was observed without an accumulation start date. The last <br /> available disposal record for drained used oil filters was dated 5/10/17. Facilities that generate up to one ton of <br /> used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil <br /> filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a <br /> copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by February 28, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
