Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: <br />10:00 am <br /> 9:00 am <br />Time Out: <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Telephone: Owner/Operator: LAKESHORE VILLAGE <br />Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION - Operating Permit <br />Address: 1550 S MILLS AVE, LODI 95242 <br />Date: 08/08/2018Name of Facility: LAKESHORE VILLAGE HOA <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Corrected on site. The life ring and it's rope were covered in webs and a live black widow spider. These <br />were promptly removed by Bret. Life ring should be ready to deploy at any time. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br /> #19 Depth Markers <br />OBSERVATIONS: Depth markers are fading, could be caused by build up of material on the tile. Depth of the pool should <br />be easily read and clearly visible. Fix before the next routine inspection. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at <br />each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br />markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and <br />shallower, markers with universal "NO DIVING" symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers. (CBC 3110B) <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pumps were off upon arrival. The pumps must be operating when pool is open, and it is recommended <br />that pumps run 2 hours before pool is opened and 2 hours after pool is closed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water.
