All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool deck is separating from the pool shell. This could cause unwanted soil expansion and deck <br /> cracking. Seal gap between pool shell and deck by next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pool shell is chipping. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br /> and scrubbing.A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 31088) <br /> #19 Depth Markers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Depth markers are faded. Replace them by next routine inspection so that depth of pool can be <br /> observed. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations:at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at <br /> each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br /> markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches.For pool water depths 6 feet and <br /> shallower,markers with universal"NO DIVING"symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers.
