The complaint was made by an anonymous person. The nature of the complaint was that dirt was being brought to the property and that some of the dirt contains hazardous waste. Garrett suggested I talk to Betty Ho (REHS) and Muniappa Naidu (Program Coordinator) in order to get more information and get a better idea on how to address this complaint. Asked Mike Suszycki(EHS) if there was any way to look up more information about this complaint. He looked it up and no additional information could be found. Talked to Betty about the complaint, she stated that the complaint came from a triage meeting. So the information provided is all that she has to work with. Updated Garrett about the complaint, he stated that I should talk to Muni before I investigate the complaint. 07/10/2019 Arrived on site to 32003 South Tracy Blvd. PE 2200 GAITAN 120 min SC 004 Drove around to find the entrance, after some time I found the entrance. Drove down the road and there were signs posted stating that it is private property, I decided to exit the property. Called Muniappa Naidu (Program Coordinator) and Garrett Backus (Lead Senior REHS) to verify if I were authorized to enter the property. I did a drive buy from the 580 west freeway, seems to be excavation work going on. I parked near the entrance and observed multiple trucks from different companies pulling into the property. Observed trucks leaving the property with soil. However, I could not observe if there was any hazardous waste involved. I did not take any photos of the site. Went back to EHD. Spoke to Michelle Henry (Lead Senior REHS) on how to handle this complaint. She suggested trying to contact the owner, however not to do anything unless I speak to Muni first. Page 1 of 15
