A HW tote containing flammable HW and labeled Flammable, was also labeled as containing Oxidizer HW. Tenisha <br />replaced the Oxidizer label with a Flammable label at the time of inspection. (IMG 7815-7) <br />2. The waste items listed below were found bagged and inside a tote labeled as containing Universal (waste) (IMG <br />7909-22): <br />- An aerosol can of DG Home Foaming Carpet Cleaner bagged with a Toastmaster kitchen appliance. According to <br />the PSC HW guidance documents aerosols are to be placed in a Flammable HW tote. <br />- A bag containing various cosmetics items, a spray bottle of cleaner with bleach, a Studio Selection Apricot <br />Scrub, and two containers of DampRid moisture absorber which the hand held scanner indicated should be placed in <br />the Toxic HW tote. <br />- A container of Top Job bleach. According to PSC HW guidance documents, bleach is to be placed in an Oxidizer <br />HW tote. <br />- A bag containing an aerosol can of Hot Shot Ant & Roach Killer, a container of DampRid moisture absorber, a <br />container of Gain In -Wash Scent Booster, a box of GE Soft White Light Bulbs, a bottle of Ultra Ajax dish soap, and <br />two containers of Downy In -Wash Scent Beads. According to the PSC HW guidance documents aerosols are to be <br />placed in a Flammable HW tote, and light bulbs and liquid dish soaps are to be placed in a Toxic HW tote. At the time <br />of inspection, it could not be determined which HW tote the Gain and Downy In -Wash Scent Booster/Beads should be <br />placed into. <br />- A 7 -Ib bag of Forever Pals Cat Litter. At the time of inspection, it could not be determined which HW tote the cat <br />litter should be placed into. <br />3. Six HW totes were found labeled with hazardous properties (i.e. Flammable, Oxidizer, Acid, Alkaline, Toxic, <br />Universal) and composition (contents) (e.g. aerosols, bleach, drain openers, ammonia, and other product <br />examples/key words on products) that did not accurately reflect the various waste items found in those totes (see <br />comments for violation 106 for specific examples). <br />4. A label on the Alkaline HW tote lists "drain openers" as an example of an item that should be placed in the Alkaline <br />HW tote (IMG 7862).
