All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: There are crystals forming on the deck from the pool water drying up. This could cause a chlorine rash if <br />skin gets exposed. <br />The connection joints are popping up in some places and causing a tripping hazard, Repair within two months. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Combined chlorine is at 1.0 ppm, the concentration of combined chlorine must be between 0.0 ppm and <br />0.4 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: There is dirt and debris accumulating at the bottom of the pool, clean today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: There are two float valve assemblies missing, replace them within one month. <br />There is dead bugs, dirt and debris accumulating in the simmer baskets. skimmer baskets should be cleaned daily. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
