The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for CDCR-California Health Care Facility as of November 01, 2019. <br /> Open violations from September 25, 2019 inspection <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the <br /> time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD) within 30 days. The documentation must include a list of training <br /> topics, date of training,job title, name of employee, written job description (qualifications and duties), and employee <br /> signed (or certified) record that documents the training. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#601 -Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> OBSERVATION One black metal 55 gallon container of waste solvent was observed in the 90 day storage area <br /> with an accumulation start date of 1/1/2019. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste or more than 1 kg of <br /> acutely hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br /> manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br />
