Advanced <br /> _-- <br /> GeoEnvironmenrtah,' Inc . v= <br /> of Northern California <br /> 05 September 1997 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0102 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY PHS-EHD <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, 3`d Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Remediation of Hydrocarbon-Impacted Soil and Ground Water <br /> MARLOWE PROPERTIES <br /> 4648 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> In accordance with a letter dated 25 June 1997 from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD), Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has the <br /> following comments for your consideration <br /> • The PHS-EHD requested a copy of the chain of custody documentation from soil samples <br /> submitted to Cooper Testing on 30 December 1996 A copy of the chain of custody is <br /> included with this letter <br /> • 'I he PHS-EHD requested tabulation of halogenated volatile organic compounds (HVOCs) <br /> detected during the March 1997 quarterly sampling event and that the table should include <br /> ground water depths and well screen intervals <br /> Summary tables for detected HVOCs are included with this letter as Tables 3 through 9, <br /> Summary of Detected Halogenated Volatile Organic Compounds CSG 31-i4, r� � <br /> • The PHS-EHD indicated that the limited well survey included with the Revised Corrective <br /> Action Plan failed to include an inventory of all nearby domestic water wells <br /> AGE reviewed Water Well Drillers Reports (W)AIDRs) at the Department of Water <br /> Resources(DWR) and performed a door-to-door survey to determine the locations of water <br /> wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the subject property Copies of the WWDRs are enclosed <br /> with this letter A revised Well Survey Map, depicting all observed water wells (Figure 6 - <br /> Limited Well Survey), is attached Information obtained from the survey was summarized in <br /> Table 6 - Limited Water Well Survey Well construction information was obtained from the <br />(� State of California Department of Water Resources and interviews with property owners and <br /> tenants <br /> 1803 West March Lane, Suite A, Stockton, California 95207 <br /> Telephone (209)956.0264 FAX(209)956-0700 <br />
