1 <br /> Quarterly Report <br /> March 1997 <br />' MARLOWE PROPERTY <br /> 4648 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> I1.0 INTRODUCTION O UCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' In accordance with a request from Mr Jonathan Marlowe of Marlowe Properties, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc , (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report for 4648 East Waterloo Road, <br />' Stockton, California The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 - Map Structures and <br /> monitoring wells on the site are illustrated in Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> The scope of work was to monitor petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water and to <br /> characterized ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report is prepared in <br /> accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site has been included in the <br /> Quarterly Repoi t -April 1996, dated 12 June 1996, prepared by AGE <br /> lie <br /> 2 0. PROCEDURES <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 14 March 1997, the depths to ground water in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 and VW-1 <br /> were measured to the nearest 0 01 foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Relative ground water <br /> elevations were calculated for each well by subtracting the depth to ground water from the relative <br /> casing elevation of each well, surveyed from a temporary benchmark assigned an arbitrary elevation <br /> (Table 1- Relative Ground Water Elevations) Relative ground water elevations were plotted and <br /> contoured on a scaled site map (Figure 3- Relative Ground Water Elevation Map) <br /> After water levels were measured, a minimum of three well volumes (approximately 12 to 15 gallons) <br /> of ground water was purged from MW-1, MW-5, MW-6 and VW-1 using a two-stage pump <br /> Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals from each well using an ICM <br /> Model 52200 water analyzer Stabilization data and field logs are contained in Appendix A Purged <br /> ground water was labeled and stored in 55-gallon drums on-site in an area lacking public <br /> 22 GROUND WATER SAMPLING <br /> I <br /> Prior to sampling, the monitoring wells were allowed to recover for a minimum of one hour prior to <br />
